QSL Manager / QSL sent out list / Letters from DXers
Reprint QSL cards of RARE Chinese Shortwave Stations
I encourage DXers sent their reception report to official address of Chinese stations,so that you may got an official seal plus QSL.But if it doesn't work, you can try another way now, send your RR to me today,as I have some experience on QSL management since 10 years ago.
QSL reprint list
Voice of Jingling(SW5860KHz/FM99.7 Schedule:
5860/6200 KHz: 1445-1705 UTCNow change to 1230-1505 UTC A14),
Fu Hsing Broadcasting Station(Taiwan)(AM558/594/846/909/1089,FM107.8 SW 9410/9774/15375
Schedule:23-01,04-06,08-10,11-13 UTC) Online Audio: http://h.fifm.us/r/radio2274.htm
More stations will be added........
I would like to confirm reception reports of these stations on the list, with full-data reprinted QSL card, even it is several years ago.
For each card, send reception report with date, time, frequency and programme details at least 15 minutes content ( Return postage would be appreciated but not necessary. Better enclosed with some stickers, pennants, QSLs or any radio things. If listener send an IRC, please do not fold it ). I will use beautiful stamps on the envelope,as I am a stamp-collector it would be appreciated if colorful stamps pasted on the envelope.
Note: Write your address clearly or use a self-address sticker, also with an email address in your reception report so that I will email you just before the QSL send out. Also please inform me when does it delivered.
Background of this service
Background of this service
It become more difficult on QSLing stations than past years, even it is an international SW station. As for my experience, I began DXing in 1989 when I still in college, and became a very active dxer near 2000 or so,when I got an PLL receiver Tecsun HAM 2000,and inactive after 2008 for less of spare time. And now re-actived.I have contacted several domestic Chinese stations in the year of 2003-2006,and the reply-rate is near 50%。But it is impossible today! There has very rare occassion when a station employee will take time to answer listeners' letters, I have sent out tons of letters but only feed back less than 5%:
Voice of Strait,
Voice of Jinling,
Voice of Pujiang/China Bussiness Network(with help of an Editor in the station, also a DXer),
I also get many reception reports from overseas, ask for help on QSL them.So I decided to reprint some blank QSLs, at the begining I select 3 rare Chinese stations:CHBC,VOJL,FHBS,if I have more time I may add more.Back to 2002 I was appointed official QSL manager of CHBC and now they do not issue QSL any more. I also told the other two stations what I will do for them.
More and more stations have left or just leaving us,both SW and AM,and all of us will leave this world,so I want to do something to tell others what's the fun of DXing in such a long time memorial period, and give us so much happy when we are child, youth ,mid-age and old.I should write a book to describe this,to tell those stations still alive and tell others. But I always be a lazy man, think more but do less. So I don't know when I will finish my job.
But I began do some basic work anyway. What I main work in my spare time now is DXing those still exist station(but will surely vanished in future),search and buy something related with radio listening, scan my former radio QSLs and stuffs and upload to my blog, write some articles titled "We are listening",aimed to the book in future which write to the stations and to tell peoples what DXer is. I always feel lack of time.
If anyone could donate any old DX/SWL materials/books/Magazines or any stuffs of any radio stations ( schedules, QSLs, cards, stickers, pennants....) ,that would be most appreciated to help my work.
